How old were they? How tall were they? Where were they born? What were their occupations? What was their level of education? What were their religious preferences? How many died during the war? Who was the first and last to die? Where are they buried? How many were wounded? What disabilities did they suffer from? How many soldiers were related? What did they do after the war? How many were married? divorced? widower? How many had children? How many joined veterans groups? How many were forgotten by their comrades?
		Capt. Sam Judd of Company A, with his wife and two children in winter camp, northern Virginia, 1861-62. Capt. Judd would be killed at Fair Oaks, May 31, 1862, and his brother George would lose an arm. Samuel's body was brought back to Grand Rapids, Michigan and buried in Fulton cemetery.
